Who we are
Placement Rota is run by Welshdag, based in Wales, United Kingdom, which also runs Timetable Creator. You can contact us at [email protected]. By using Placement Rota you agree to these terms. Please also read our privacy notice.
The service
Placement Rota helps students keep their placement shifts on one roster, share them with their placement area, and see their practice supervisor’s or assessor’s shifts. You sign in with your Timetable Creator account.
Placement Rota is an independent service. It isn’t run by, or connected to, any hospital, university or health service.
Not the official roster
Shifts in Placement Rota are entered by students and supervisors, or copied from a calendar link you choose to add. They can be wrong or out of date. Always check your shifts against the official roster from your placement area. Placement Rota isn’t a record of hours for your course and doesn’t replace your practice assessment document or your university’s records. We aren’t responsible for missed or wrong shifts.
Price
Placement Rota is free while we test it. If we decide to charge for it in future, we will tell you first, and you will never be charged unless you choose to pay.
Share links and your team
When you create a share link or invite someone to your team, you choose to show them your shifts. Only share links with people you trust, and turn off any link you no longer need. Only invite people who have agreed to it, and don’t share someone else’s shifts without their permission.
Linking an e-roster calendar
If you add a calendar link from your own e-roster, you confirm that you’re allowed to use it this way. Check your employer’s or placement provider’s policy before linking a work calendar to another service. You can unlink it at any time.
Fair use
Use Placement Rota only for your own shifts and the people you work with. Don’t enter health details or information about patients. Don’t try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service, access other people’s data, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend or remove access for anyone who breaks these rules.
Availability and changes
Placement Rota is in testing, so features may change, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. If we ever have to close it, we will give you reasonable notice first.
Our responsibility to you
Placement Rota is provided free while we test it. We’re responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us not using reasonable care and skill. We’re not responsible for loss that wasn’t foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn’t allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Ending your use
You can stop at any time. “Delete my Placement Rota data” at the bottom of your roster removes your shifts, share links, team links, linked calendar and name straight away. Deleting your Timetable Creator account stops you signing in, so delete your Placement Rota data first.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and tell you about any important change when you sign in.
